CAMPS Awards & 10th Anniversary Banquet – November 15th, 2017

CAMPS members have a great deal to celebrate in 2017. Many of our members have made great progress this year and as an organization, we are strong and growing. 
Join us and celebrate members and organization achievements.
The success of CAMPS is due to the participation and support of our members. Individual and company efforts make the difference as to why CAMPS is unique and beneficial to the manufacturing community in Washington State. Our members continue to be recognized for outstanding achievements, leading companies, innovation, workforce programs impacting lives of our youth and military veterans. Members are investing time and resources for the overall manufacturing communities in Washington State.
 
Charter or Founding Members
 
Special recognition will be afforded to the Charter or Founding Members who joined CAMPS in 2008 and 2009. These companies stepped forward and supported the CAMPS initiative while we were still developing our agenda and clarifying our mission. These Charter Members made CAMPS possible and have continued to remain as supporting members.
This event is intended to be a social event for members, spouses, guests, and employees.
Selected CAMPS members will be awarded for the following categories:
Manufacturing Award categories:
  • Innovation (Product/Process/Company)
    • Definition: Award given to a manufacturer who best demonstrates an innovative product, process, or company.
    • Qualifications: Submit verifiable information and documentation related to their innovation or innovativeness in the past 12 months.
    • Examples: Innovative products, processes, marketing or internal innovation initiative, etc.
    • Selection is based on success with the innovation either through sales/revenue, or positive impact on company or community.
  • Community Impact
    • Definition: Award given to a manufacturer who has had the greatest impact on the community in the past year.
    • Qualifications: Submit documentation verifying their community impact.
    • Examples: Supporting educational robotics programs, hiring initiatives, charitable contributions, volunteer efforts, etc.
    • Selection is based on the degree of impact to the largest number of people or the greatest depth of impact overall in the last 12 months.
  • Outstanding Contribution to CAMPS
    • Definition: Award given to a manufacturer who provides the highest level of support for and participation within CAMPS.
    • Qualifications: CAMPS manufacturing member in good standing.
    • Examples:  Active committee participation; contributing time, talent and treasure, etc.
    • Selection is based on verifiable documentation of support and participation over the last 12 months.
  • Industry Leadership (Individual)
    • Definition: Award given to an individual within a manufacturing company who has shown outstanding leadership within their industry and organization.
    • Qualifications: CAMPS manufacturing member in good standing, a highly regarded and respected individual who has positive influence over their organization and the manufacturing community.
    • Examples: A company turn-around, successful expansion, bold change in business direction, major impact on company culture, etc.
    • Selection is based on specific company benefits gained that are directly attributable and quantifiable to their leadership in the past 12 months.
  • Manufacturer of the Year (Company)
    • Definition: Top overall manufacturer of all categories and overall business success for the year.
    • Qualifications: Submit documentation demonstrating success in the areas of company profitability, innovation, community impact, CAMPS participation, and leadership.
    • Selection is based on quantifiable improvements in the above areas over the last 12 months.
CAMPS 10 Year Anniversary Manufacturing Award:
  • Legacy Award
    • Definition: Award given to a manufacturer who exemplifies a long-term commitment to CAMPS.
    • Qualifications: Long-term active CAMPS membership with high organizational participation, best demonstrating the mission and vision of CAMPS.
    • Selection is based on longevity of CAMPS membership; verifiable support, and participation within CAMPS; and their demonstrated embodiment of CAMPS mission and vision.
Award open to all members:
  • Volunteer of the Year
    • Definition: Award given to any individual CAMPS member who provides a high level of support and participation within CAMPS.
    • Qualifications: CAMPS member in good standing.
    • Examples:  Active committee participation; contributing time, talent and treasure, etc.
    • Selection is based on verifiable documentation of their efforts resulting in high impact and improvement to the CAMPS organization and offerings over the last 12 months.
